kicking and screaming.. not a will ferrell movie... but my life!

anyways.. i am alive and going about my business.. highlights of the past few days/weeks include the following..

• watching step up 2 - the streets and wondering what the hell are "apple bottom jeans" as sung in one of the main songs from that film...

  and then i did a little google search that solved the riddle! i came across the following images that put my concerned mind at rest.. REEBOKS WITH THE STRAPS>>> THE STRAPS!!!

• joining the city library so i can continue to watch free movies and not have to spend money that i am not earning at work because they are shitheads and have cut hours from all departments... on the upside to that is watching some good flicks and interesting docos...
  
  highlights include ... "who the EFF is jackson pollock" ... an endearing little film about a foul mouthed truckie who is convinced she has a painting that is worth 50 mill ... (she bought it from a thrift store) .. maybe this movie reminded me of my own mother which is why i found it to be more fascinating than your average joe...

• went to my first ever wedding... (not including the malaysian one that i wore shorts and fucking larger than life grandpa/black man in the bronx rapper shirt and lynx shoes... my god... not only do they make awful deodorant.. that CHOC one makes me want to GAG!)

• meh... what else... downloading a shitload of tv from the net... havent watched any of it... if anyone wants anything i could start an effing library with all the stuff i am accumulating.
  
  
• did my tax return... in an amazing result i got back more than my fair share which is going straight to the pool room in the hopes that it will get me an ipod, a macbook pro and a trip to europe... i know i am dreaming but COME ON!!!! if delta can beat cancer i can save some $$$!
  
  
• all 5 seasons of the wire arrived from amazon v. quickly and no, i havent started watching it.. i am still 2 seasons behind the brutal sausage fest that is OZ!
