driving miss lazy

so i had my first ever official driving lesson today and boy was it easy!

here i was freaking out about everything and if i was going to crash and die or if the car was going to explode and all i did was drive around some dead streets and merge into some traffic!!

and my fears of being trapped into a car with a stranger were quickly calmed as i realised that my instructor was kinda reminiscent of this man.

eh man, i had nothing to worry about at all...

this newest trailer for the mini movie of 24 makes me wonder what happened to this show!!! ohhhh.. the days when i used to looooove it and i kinda still do... but this new trailer looks shiiiit!

maybe it is the awful voice over? i dunno... but it looks waaay dum and the whole fact he is in africa saving the little blacks with guns... blah..

there is nothing in this that looks anything like the old 24 with nina and kim and the CTU that i know and love... and in this season, not only is tony apparently back from the effing dead... it seems that CTU is no longer functioning as the main operations !!!

i know this is a nerd rant and no-one will read this unless the search google for "24 exile looks bad" .... argghhhh..

and it gets worse... suddenly it goes from africa probs then bauer pops up and then it turns into fucking rambo in the jungle mixed in with the requiem for a (im popping up in every single trailer since 2000) dream theme and then looks like bloody black hawk down in the end...

the lego knight

ok... so we have all seen the best movie of the year thus far and creaming our jeans over how good christopher nolan's dark knight was...

after a little hunt of youtube a while back i found that bourne ultimatum fight sequence... turns out the kid is a freakin genius and made this trailer for the film..

omg it is incredible the amount of detail and the construction of his angles and effects...

anyways, enjoy this and if you havent seen this movie yet i am not talking to you until you do!!

i came across this lego animation the other day it was nothing short of amazing.

for someone like me who has seen this fight scene many times it was pretty incredible just how accurate it was re-created.

as a few of you might know i have started to write reviews for the shelves at work as per requests from my mangers...

after quite a successful run of making fun of movies and tv shows and things like that i was told that there were to be no more "bad" reviews or ones that make the customer not want to buy something...

so, it was more of a puff peice than a review...

mmm a week after writing this review a customer complained...

now, when i wrote this... i actually accidentally forgot to write my name.. it wasn't that i was scared, i just forgot..

and the thing is.. i cant figure out if they were offended because as loyal fans of a shite show they were likened to a fan of hitler... or they were somehow related to the events that took place.

now.. in my defence... i am not at all condoning what adolf did, nor am i supporting his cause... all i am saying is... even though this might be a bad show... there are people out there that watch it..

like, KKK for example... i dont like it... but there are people that do. one nation... michael jackson... etc etc etc...

i guess looking back on it i wouldn't like to be compared to a fan of a mass murdering psychopathic dog killing monster.. but can't people have a sense of humour???

once again the doctor is over for another year...

hmmm...

anyways, it was a great season and i cant (well yes i can) believe that i am going to rant slightly on about how good it was... catherine tate was surprisingly excellent as the new companion and the finale was probably one of the strongest the show has produced.

there were guest appearances left right and centre and people who i was so shocked to see again... ohhh those daleks will they ever just give up??? hmmm

back to catherine tate who i dont really like (are you bothered?) ... she was great in this and it was good to see that the dr didnt fall over his ass in lurve with this lady... although, we loooove to bring back billie and martha so they can all woo over david tennants hella skinny frame.

and in true blogger style.... a nice little montage to capture some of the best moments of season 4!
