movie time

snowcake

alan rickman, trinity from matrix and sigourney weaver star in this drama about death, dealing and some snow. after killing a hitchhiker, rickman goes to meet the mother who is not all there... great performances and realistic dialogue make snowcake entertaining and engaging.

28 weeks later

the sequel to 28 weeks starring full monty's robert carlyle. "upping the anty" from the original, 28 weeks is bloody and violent and packed full of hand-held camera work. some good performances from rose byrne and michael from lost. london looks fantastic as an abandoned virus hot-spot. watch out for the possible trilogy!!!

once

an amazing film with a fantastic soundtrack. shot on handycam and with non professional actors, once tells the story of random and not so perfect love. the two leads give powerful performances as boy and girl who fall for each other and then have to go back to their lives. watch this film not once, but twice... and then download the soundtrack...

superbad

not bad at all this film. pretty dirty in terms of its humor. michael cera and jonah hill are great not to mention the other kid who kinda steals the show with his mc lovin character. bill hader and seth rogen are also great as dum cops. funny and outrageous situations make superbad a pretty fun and silly little trip into the lives of these 3 kids who just wanna bang chicks and go to a rad party.

cars

another pixar movie that i just couldnt even get through. i cant really call this a review because i didnt watch it but let's just say that it was soooo disappointing and felt more like a bad dreamworks movie than pixar. they dropped the ball on this one that's for sure!

oceans thirteen

all the gang are back plus al "scarface" pacino in this fun fun fun heist movie. soderbergh handles the action and dialogue with great ease and this film just rolls by its 2 hrs running time! great music and production design. bernie mac isn't around anymore so check him out in one of his final roles... he doesn't get much to do but he is there. twists and turns and fun for all the gang.

human traffic

not about what you think this brit flick stars martin someone who played the master is season 3 of dr who. anyways, great music and atmosphere about london night life and drugs and partying and having fun. not the best thing i have seen but it was okay.

knocked up

rogen and heigl star in this apatow flick about getting pregs. great dialogue and naturalistic performances like any of his previous films. good to also see some of the gang from other projects popping up.
