so it was like 10.45 pm on friday and most people would either be in bed or drinking and dancing the night away. where was i? i was with (because he's my...) butler at hoyts watching a special screening of the cult anime hit, akira.now i was a little meh about the whole idea... only because i was so tired and i had only just finished work. anyways, i'm extremely glad i went because it was
AMAZING!
YES.. that's right. anyways, the whole thing was sooo spectacular... the cinematography and lighting was a wet dream ... i could sooo see all the other films that got inspiration/totally ripped off shots from.
and the music. downloading the soundtrack as we speak/as i speak. and it was east to follow. i didn't feel like a dum dum.
yes, highly recommended viewing. nah, essential.

But yeah, I really enjoyed watching it on the big screen, even if it was a scratched print with a weird English dub. And I even understood it this time!
