mmm i'm extremely interested and im glad that it has a bit of court room drama with jack getting some fingers pointed towards him. although, im not sure if it looks like another version of die hard 4.0 for the small screen but i am liking the different color tones and change of scenery.

only a couple of months to wait until i can get into BAUER mode.

yes, the DVD has arrived in stores already and we are pretty much sold out at JB .. we sold 53 copies in the first day alone and i imagine its going to be pretty mental over the weekend telling people we have no more left.

anyways... look through all the 3 & 1/2 hours of special features and you might see some more of my body parts appear in the formal scene with ja'mie.

man... i don't even know where to start. this show was so fucking fabulous and everything about it rocked.



i bought the soundtrack for the show even before i had scene it and went in thinking it would be good... WRONG!

IT WAS GREAASH!

we had tickets - likim, sarah, carol & me - in the 2nd row and we were so close you could see every tiny bit of effort and every vein in the neck and head pop out during all the musical numbers. the costumes were every uni students wet dream.

here are some FAB facts&figures..

• Each week, there are 80 loads of washing, using 8 litres of washing liquid, requiring 24 hours of ironing and 10 cans of starch. Two people sort costumes almost all day, 6 days per week
  
• Nearly 200 hats and headdresses are worn by the cast throughout each performance, one of them contains 25 yellow rubber ducks, another 75 butterflies, another a bowl of fruit and a forth an aquarium complete with fish.
  
• There are nearly 300 costumes changes each performance, many of which are undertaken by the principals.
  
• There are 23 tonnes of scenery and lighting equipment hanging in the grid above the stage.

death at a cinema

meh. what a let down. death at a funeral totally didnt live up to all the hype about how hilarious it was.

basically some fam gets together after the dad dies and all the shit hits the fan and then someone takes drugs not knowing that its acid and then a midget loves to be the dead guys gay lover who's trying to extort the family for money.

i went in watching this with an open mind and i was in the mood for some laughter.. and... NOPE. no such satisfaction. it had some good moments; dont get me wrong... but i felt slightly cheated that the whole movie really relied on drug guy.

meh. obviously not in the mood to write a review for this film.

p.s - anyone wanting to buy seinfeld for cheap let me know!

ok.. so i have been totally slack re: the blog and all aspects of maintaining an interesting and cool blog. it wasnt until recent comments from a fellow blogger that made me re-analyse and have a good long hard look at myself and the reason why i started blogging in the first place. so, from now on i will be less dependent on you-tube clips and posters and things like that.

you may remember nearly a year ago i got assaulted (punched in the face) during my employment at video ezy...

and what just did happen to the guy who did the crime?

i had asked myself this very question and then like another smack in the face i run into outside myer in the city selling...

man, i totally freaked out. and then i laughed. and then i felt guilty that i put him there.

and then i thought about it. he put himself there. oooh... he is soooo fucking gross. YUCK.

oh well... at least i have some closure as to where he is and what he is up to..

i thought this was quite a good attempt at creating a trailer for baz lurhmanns new film 'australia' by using alot of other footage from other films... if i was dumb and didnt know any better i would almost think it's the real deal.



anyways... cant wait to see nicole in all her glory!

obviously. like there wasnt enough weird sites out there on the net, this one lets you search through an online database/cemetary of people from all over the world.

i found this out because...

1. i was reading an article about dave hughes & entourage guy on rove.
   
2. youtubed that... but came up with rove interviewing the guy that does elmo's voice.
   
3. he (elmo) mentioned belinda emmett and i thought she was already dead when he was interviewed.
   
4. i double checked on IMDB.
   
5. she died a couple of months after.
   
6. there was a comment with a link to a virtual grave-site for belinda emmett.

so that's that.
